One-day itinerary at Muro Alto Beach for couples and honeymooners: a morning in the natural pool, an afternoon at the spa or the pool, and dinner with a reservation near the beach. Muro Alto lies 8 to 10 km north of Vila de Porto (the village center of Porto de Galinhas), has no small town center and is home mainly to resorts and a few restaurants open to the public.

Morning
Check the Brazilian Navy tide table for the Porto de Suape station to find the time of low tide. That is when the reef wall forms the natural pool right by the sand, with calm water, shallow stretches and others where you cannot touch bottom. You can snorkel and rent a kayak, including transparent ones, or a stand-up paddleboard to paddle as a couple. Guests at NANNAI Muro Alto have kayaks and stand-up paddleboards among the resort's activities.
Afternoon
As the tide rises, the strip of sand narrows and the sea can wash over the reefs. One option is NANNAI SPA by L'Occitane, which also serves non-guests; check hours and book ahead. Another is the day pass at Bar da Praia Muro Alto: in February 2026 it cost R$ 30 per person and included the pool, showers, air-conditioned restrooms and chairs with sunshades, from 8:00 to 17:00, with food and drinks paid separately.
Evening
TiaTê, inside NANNAI Muro Alto, is open to the public by reservation only, Tuesday to Sunday, for lunch and dinner; it is closed on Mondays. At Villa de Muro Alto, Toscana Trattoria Muro Alto serves Italian food. Domingos Restaurante Muro Alto is on the first floor of Empório Muro Alto and opens every day, from 12:00 to 23:00. For a livelier evening, go by car or ride-hailing app to Vila de Porto.
Precautions
Sunscreen, water and water shoes near the reefs. Do not step on the corals. Since Muro Alto has no small town center, bring to the beach whatever you will need during the day.
