Associação dos Jangadeiros de Porto de Galinhas
R$$The Associação dos Jangadeiros de Porto de Galinhas brings together the jangadeiros who make the crossing by jangada, a traditional sail raft, from the beach at the Vila (the village center of Porto de Galinhas) to the natural pools. Its service point is at Praça das Piscinas Naturais, near the main jangada departure point, and it suits those who want to buy the tour directly from the people who sail.
The tour lasts about an hour and includes the jangada ride to the pools, a visit to the Mapa do Brasil (Map of Brazil) formed by the reefs and the company of the jangadeiros. In October 2026, adults, from age 7, paid R$ 60 in cash or by Pix, Brazil's instant payment, and R$ 63 by card; children aged 4 to 6 paid R$ 30 or R$ 33, and children up to 3 ride free.
Departures only happen at low tide, and times change every day according to the tide table, so it is worth checking before going to the beach. The association also runs social and environmental projects, including a coral biofactory.
