Abissal Mergulho
Abissal Mergulho is a dive operator based inside Serrambi Resort, in Serrambi, aimed mainly at certified divers who want to explore the shipwrecks off the south coast of Pernambuco. It also offers an introductory program for people who have never dived and courses at several levels.

Boat trips often visit the Marte, Gonçalo Coelho and Galeão Serrambi wrecks, which lie 32 to 33 meters deep. For that reason, these dives require at least the advanced course. Marte and Gonçalo Coelho were sunk in the late 1990s specifically for recreational diving, and in 2018 the Abissal team located a barge at about 40 meters, 13 nautical miles off the coast.
Because the base is inside a resort, check beforehand whether the operator takes divers who are not staying there, as well as dates, prices and the minimum number of divers per trip.
