Pousada Santo Aleixo
Pousada Santo Aleixo is on the seafront on Avenida Beira Mar de Serrambi, in Ipojuca, between Maracaípe and Toquinho beaches, facing Santo Aleixo Island. It suits couples and small families who want to stay on the south coast of Porto de Galinhas, away from the center.
There are five categories. The Deluxe Double Suite has a balcony with a hammock, a sea view and a small kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, sandwich maker and blender. The Ground-Floor Deluxe Double Room and the Deluxe Double Superior also have a sea view and a balcony or terrace. The Standard Double is on the side, with a partial view, and the Standard Triple is on the ground floor.
All rates include breakfast. Children up to 7 years old stay free if they sleep in their parents' bed. For other meals there are restaurants nearby, the closest two doors down from the pousada (guesthouse).
Santo Aleixo Island, seen from the pousada, belongs to the municipality of Sirinhaém, and speedboat tours to the island usually leave from Barra de Sirinhaém. Recife Airport is about 60 km away.
