Barraca is a Brazilian cuisine restaurant at Rua Esperança, 430, in the Vila (the village center of Porto de Galinhas). Despite the name, which means beach kiosk in Portuguese, it is not a beach kiosk: it cooks Brazilian recipes with attention to the flavors of the Northeast, with fish and seafood in the spotlight.

One of the best-known dishes is cioba (a snapper) with pirão de macaxeira (a thick cassava purée). The kitchen uses contemporary techniques and regional ingredients, and the drinks list includes cocktails, wine and beer. There are vegetarian and gluten-free options.

The dining room is open from 12:00 to 23:00, for lunch and dinner, with tables also outside, on a pedestrian street. The restaurant takes reservations and credit cards.
